What can you expect on a Sunday morning?

A warm welcome and a friendly face!

There is a mix of people in the congregation: families, single people, old and young - everyone is welcome.

We have a free car park and the main entrance is round the front of the church. There is always a hot drink and biscuits after the service.

Style of worship

St Mark's is an informal church with a mix of modern and older songs. Sometimes we have musicians such as guitarists and drummers. We are evangelical, meaning we think the bible is important, and we believe that God's Holy Spirit can speak to us.

What to wear

Please don't feel that you have to dress smartly, but if you want to that's fine with us.

Morning worship (1st & 3rd Sunday)

These last around an hour. They are a normal worship service but without communion.

Holy Communion services (2nd, 4th & 5th Sunday)

These last around 1 hour 15 minutes. Near the start of the service children are invited to join the JAM session (Jesus And Me) in the rear hall, led by our team of volunteers (all DBS checked and with safeguarding training.)
