We raised £301.Also , on the run up to Christmas. On November the 17th 2018 we held our annual Maggie Down quizin aid of the church fabric fund.Maggie was a lovely Christian ladywho passed away some years ago, and the crystal glass prize is presented to the winning team in her memory.Thanks to all whoattended and supported us.Fun and fellowship was enjoyed by all.£107 was raised for church maintenance. Christmas Fair 2018.On Saturday 24 November we held our Annual Christmas Fair,when we welcomedthe local community for tea/coffee and cake or a bacon butty. At the same time theycould discover some Christmas presents on our Advent/Christmas or Craft Stalls,buy a home-bakedcake, pick up a second-hand book or just try their hand at thepopular Fishing Game,or Splat Splat the Rat!Children enjoyed having their face painted or time on the bouncy castle. Friends of St Mark’s School also had a stalland our children from JAM made lolly angels to sell.This was a great out-reach opportunity for us and people return fair after fair to visit their favourite stall. This year John Penrose MP paid us a visit and spent time chattingand enjoying a cup of tea.We raised £716.00 for our church Maintenance Fund.
